As part of our growth into original digital content, Sinclair is looking for an enterprising and creative Assistant Editor to join our Amazing America and Let’s Eat team.
In this role you will be creating highly sharable original content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. We’re looking for someone who has a versatile production and post background with a deep passion for digital content. You should come to this role with an immense curiosity about the world around you, as well as visual storytelling skills to capture the attention of audiences of all ages. To succeed in this role, you must be well-versed in the language of the internet, hyperaware of social trends, and possess the ability to both articulate and execute a creative vision.

REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with hands-on experience:
Ingesting, transcoding, and relinking media, and creation of proxy workflows
Audio/video syncing, basic sound editing, loudness standards, and audio cleaning
Color correction basics, LUT application, shot matching
Knowledge of export settings for various platforms and formats
Troubleshooting common technical issues
Experience with Adobe After Effects to assist in development and design of basic titles, animations, and other in-show graphic elements, as well as a basic understanding of keyframing, masking, tracking, text animation, and dynamic linking workflows within After Effects and Premiere
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop to assist in resizing and retouching of assets, as well as preparing and exporting layered psd files for motion work
Experience sourcing and integrating music, SFX, alternate footage
Strong organizational skills within projects and able to organize file/folder structures for local/shared drives, and setup project files for handoff.
EXPERIENCE
3+ years hands-on experience in post-production
Highly skilled across Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Premiere Rush, Photoshop, After Effects, etc), and other creative software
Strong understanding of video editing techniques and storytelling
Demonstrated experience in motion graphics and creating social media video content
An eye for quality content, with an understanding of what plays well across various channels
This position requires impeccable spelling and grammar, a deep understanding of social media trends and what works on each platform, vertical video editing skills, and the ability to capture well composed videos on a phone
Must be highly motivated, extremely organized, and come to the position with a uniquely creative mind

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $31.25 to $37.50. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a quarterly performance-based bonus. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
