Position Description What You'll Do - Safely operate a water truck to transport and distribute water at construction sites.
- Use auxiliary pump systems to compact soil and control dust.
- Insert pipe in refilled trenches and support excavation backfilling.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain truck supplies such as oil, gas, tires, brakes, and lights.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, federal, and state safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and submit timely reports.
- Immediately report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment concerns.
- Wear required PPE and follow company safety protocols at all times.
- Actively participate in safety meetings and ongoing training.
Position Requirements What We're Looking For - Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement.
- Current DOT Medical Certificate and Medical Examiner's Report.
- Clean driving record:
- No DUIs in the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations
- No more than 1 accident in the past 3 years
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating a comparable vehicle.
- Strong understanding of federal and state driving and safety regulations.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
