Compliance Manager for Affordable Housing Join to apply for the Compliance Manager for Affordable Housing role at Beacon Communities LLC . Position Overview Old Colony Homes, Boston, MA, is a large affordable housing community serving families and seniors with a mix of townhomes and midrise towers. The Compliance Manager will lead the team responsible for occupancy, recertification, and affordable leasing, requiring experience with move-in, interim, and annual recertification processes for Public Housing, Project-Based Vouchers, or Project-Based Section 8, along with Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Responsibilities Oversee the COS and Leasing departments, setting performance standards Train new hires and support ongoing staff development Assist with hiring, termination, and performance evaluations Maintain compliance reports and matrices Approve MI files and review files exceeding 140% Ensure accurate move-in, move-out, and transfer processes Monitor waiting lists to follow tenant selection plans Complete EIV reporting accurately Prepare files for inspections and audits Maintain customer service standards in the Leasing Office Report to management on departmental performance Manage special projects as assigned Foster positive relationships with residents and community agencies Adhere to company policies and confidentiality standards Minimum Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent, Certified Occupancy Specialist designation, and at least five years of senior COS experience. Skills and Attributes Proficiency in math, subsidy regulations, Microsoft Office, organizational and interpersonal skills, high energy, and ability to work independently.
