Electrical Assistant Job Posting

We're looking for an Electrical Assistant to join our team in Warren.. The ideal candidate will be a competent and reliable individual who can provide support to our Electrical Leader on a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Assistant, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

• Assisting the Electrical Leader with the layout and mounting of electrical equipment on tooling fixtures and around the perimeter of systems.
• Disassembling and preparing equipment for shipping.
• Assisting with the troubleshooting and debugging of hardwire circuits.
• Designing and creating brackets for mounting electrical components.
• Working with the Electrical Leader to suggest improvements for build methods.
• Adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams with minimal supervision.

This role requires frequent supervision and direction to ensure tasks are completed correctly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1-3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard shop tools (drill press, band saw, grinder, etc.) and trade-specific tools (conduit bender, volt meter, amp probe, etc.). You must be able to understand and follow power requirements.
• General Skills: The ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules and procedure manuals. You should also be able to write routine reports and solve practical problems.

Physical Requirements

The role involves standing, walking, and using your hands to handle tools and materials. You will frequently be required to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment is typically noisy with some exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
