Overview The Lead Cisco Network Engineer will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring it is robust, secure, scalable, and optimized to support business operations. This leadership role involves managing a team of network engineers, mentoring junior staff, and providing strategic direction for network projects. The position requires advanced technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex network environments across data centers, offices, and remote locations. The Lead Network Engineer will report to the Project Manager and lead the Network Engineering team. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure. Ensure the network is secure, scalable, and optimized for business needs. Manage and mentor a team of network engineers. Provide strategic guidance for network projects. Oversee complex network environments across multiple locations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or 14+ years of relevant experience. Active Top Secret Clearance or equivalent. Advanced expertise in network engineering. Strong leadership abilities. Experience managing complex network environments. Preferred certifications include: CCNP, CCNA, CCSP, MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Database Administrator, CompTIA Network+ and A+, ITIL Foundations, and formal training in CCure and Genetec.
