Job Description

A school district in Irving, TX is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position during the current school year. This role supports K-12 students in addressing their educational, emotional, and behavioral needs through assessment, consultation, and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grades
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to special education eligibility determinations
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and legal guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required by the state
• Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
