As a Security Guard - Healthcare Facility in West Chester, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and exceptional customer service skills will support a welcoming atmosphere, while your communication abilities will help address any security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those unique to healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access while maintaining a welcoming presence.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual situations to the appropriate authorities and/or site management.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
