Temp Senior HR Generalist Food & Beverage Manufacturing

$ 29 - $ 35 / Hour

Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin

Contractor: Human Resources

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join a leading food and beverage manufacturing company in Milwaukee. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR operations, employee relations, and compliance within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles including production, quality, and supervisory positions.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, resolving workplace issues and fostering a positive culture.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.

Training & Development:

  • Implement training programs to enhance workforce capabilities and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Track certifications and maintain training records.

Performance Management:

  • Facilitate performance review cycles and support managers with coaching and development plans.
  • Manage disciplinary actions and ensure alignment with company policies.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, labor laws, and internal safety protocols.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and incident reporting.

Payroll & Benefits:

  • Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration in collaboration with finance and third-party providers.
  • Educate employees on benefits offerings and support open enrollment.

HR Strategy & Reporting:

  • Contribute to HR strategy development and execution.
  • Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports on turnover, engagement, and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, safety regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive pay: $29 - $35 per hour.
