• Location: Dallas, TX 75243 (Texas healthcare jobs)\n
• Facility Setting: Cardiac Stepdown Unit / Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract\n
• Start Date: August 19, 2025\n
• End Date: November 18, 2025\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000-$2050\n
• Patient Ratio: 1:1\n
• EMR System: Meditech\n
• Scrubs: Provided for operating room staff\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, CVOR, or cardiovascular surgery nursing\n
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)\n
• Strong clinical skills in post-operative cardiac patient care\n
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities\n
• Preferred: CNOR certification\n

\n\nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver direct patient care in cardiac stepdown and cardiovascular operating room settings\n
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries, including CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic replacements, vascular procedures, and heart transplants\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (CSTs, ATs, PCTs)\n
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR system\n
• Participate in on-call rotation (45-minute response time required)\n
• Float to spine operating room as needed\n
• Follow facility protocols and maintain high standards of patient safety\n
