We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Data Leader to join the Divisional Data Office supporting the Corporate Trust line of business. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA /Lake Mary, FL

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Primary point of contact with key stakeholders in Product, Operations and Enterprise Data Management to drive the advancement of the maturity of the Corporate Trust data management framework.
  • Help establish enterprise and business level data principles, standards and guidelines on behalf of the Conventional Trust / Structured Debt Data Office.
  • Represent the Structured Debt Data Office in enterprise-wide data initiatives.
  • Develop an understanding of key data attributes required by Conventional Trust / Structured Debt products and business processes. 
  • Implement processes and controls to improve quality and usability.
  • Review, recommend and execute best practices to drive continuous data management improvements.
  • Serve as a resource for data governance related questions and guide resolutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the business and technology teams to conduct analysis and produce detailed project artifacts including requirements documents, data roadmaps and other analysis documentation.
  • Manage the work of the data management teams within the group
  • Support the evolution, execution and connectivity of data governance tools and technologies to support data governance initiatives.
  • Regularly assess and refine data governance processes and policies in line with the industry best practice, to promote continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate management expertise and exercise influence to identify, evaluate and recommend potential objectives to support the delivery of data management services

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Team leadership skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure. 
  • You will have strong analytical and management skills, are familiar with Agile methodology and played an active role in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and execution.
  • Experience in data governance and data management and strong knowledge of best practices 
  • Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills
  • Expertise of managing data and processes in a global enterprise environment with an understanding of database and schema design
  • Excellent communication, both in listening and conveying messages to a wide range of stakeholder groups
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, with an ability to develop creative and structured solutions
  • Ability to influence relevant parties to ensure milestones are met.
  • Ability to work under low to moderate supervision and deliver work assigned in a results oriented manner.
  • Project management via Agile execution methodology.
  • People Leadership, be able to inspire and build momentum across a global team but you are also a team player, happy to roll up your sleeves when needed.
  • Technical proficiencies: Working with large data sets, Collibra, Solidatus, MS Excel 
  • Banking or Financial Services experience, especially that pertaining to Corporate Trust or related Issuer Services preferred.
