Position: Install Coordinator - Mister Sparky

Role Overview:

As an Install Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective installations while supporting our teams in delivering exceptional customer service. Your ability to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate across various teams and departments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post-Sale and Materials Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure timely ordering of parts and equipment.
  • Oversee material procurement from approved vendors for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate preparation, sourcing, and staging of parts and equipment.
  • Assist in assigning installation crews and managing job assignments in software.
  • Ensure accurate completion of installation job packets and materials ordering.

• Inventory Management:

  • Work with Procurement to order parts, materials, and equipment.
  • Manage inventory tracking in job software and oversee returns and reuse of unused materials.

• Inspections:

  • Coordinate with Permitting for filing and posting permits.
  • Confirm job completion and follow up on inspection results, addressing any issues as needed.

• Warranty:

  • Enter serialized equipment into software and complete warranty registrations.

• Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Ensure smooth workflow and communication between departments.

• Data Management:

  • Perform data entry and management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Professionalism:

  • Attend meetings and obtain necessary certifications.
  • Maintain a professional image and ensure work quality meets company standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the electrical Industry 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in electrical, construction, or trades permitting is a plus.
• Basic inventory management knowledge.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement transactions.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; ability to learn new software quickly.

Physical Demands:

• Office work, including prolonged sitting or standing, and use of general office equipment.
