This role requires generating new leads, building strong customer relationships, and providing expert product knowledge and technical support to close sales and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in forklift and material handling equipment sales along with being a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and market analysis.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to showcase the features and benefits of the equipment.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor products.
• Provide after-sales support and follow-up to address any customer issues and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities and customer information in a CRM system.
• Review daily sales reports.
• Review monthly the best monitoring sales report with management to determine if goals and objectives are being met.
• Participate in industry tradeshows, networking engagements and other industry events.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
• Adheres to all Company’s procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Supports Sales Department during core business hours and any other hours deemed necessary by Manager.
• Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to Company Uniform Policy.
• All other duties as assigned by Manager.

• High school diploma, college degree preferred.
• Previous material handling equipment and/or forklift sales experience.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task with accuracy and promptness.
• Understanding basic accounting procedures and working knowledge of PC.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, both internal and external.

• Frequently required to sit, use hands to handle objects and talk or hear.
• Frequent wrist and/or hand movement is required.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Demonstrates the ability to enter and exit vehicles independently and without difficulty.
